more detail in her video than the imaginisce video. yes kinda of annoying, I agree.  :giggle
Its good that there are templates for it I would totally use those.
I knew we would have to use their gems, that is a draw back for me. I think I would still buy it.

I like the fact that it heat seals the gems... other self adhesive gems and glued down gems often fall off with time... and I'm hoping that the heat seal will make it more permanent... I'm definately getting one... but I'll get mine at Scrapbook Queens :giggle

I have one of those from my days of trimming dance costumes!
Mind you, its NOT pink and cute!
It is very useful and does stick the stones very well as long as its hot enough!
it actually heats the stone to melt the glue on the underside, so it is hot when you are working with it, and it stays hot after you are done so you must put it away somewhere safe, out of the way so it doesn't burn you!
Downside is you HAVE to buy the pre-glued stones, and they are usually the glass ones so tend to be expensive. But you are not restricted to just their brand (although they would like you to think that!) you can use ANY pre-glued "Hot Fix" stone. (not the ones that come with the gummy ready to stick glue)

It really is like any other tool. Some people will Love it and use it all the time, others will find it a bother to get out and find the right stones, wait for it to heat and use it.

Me, I dont care either way, I used it occasionally when I needed too. Friends of mine used it exclusively and loved it.

Just my 2 cents

If you guys want to see mine and try it you are welcome too. I will keep my eyes open for it as I am sorting and putting away my stuff!

I'm jealous that the voices only talk to Janet!

I really do like the fact that they have the templates.
Thanks for the info Wheelie!  I'm glad that you can use other brands of stones with the adhesive...that may change my mind about buying one.   :aha

It's not an expensive tool. In the US it's retailing for about $12. The gems don't seem to be too expensive either.
